Get native notifications in Firefox on Linux (Ubuntu 14.04)

To get native notifications in Firefox on Linux (Ubuntu), all you have to do is download an add-on (extension).

So, Let’s get started:

  1. Open your Firefox on Linux
  2. Get the Extension (GNotifier) by clicking here.
  3. Click on Add to Firefox. If a pop-up menu appears. Click on Allow.
  4. Once the add-on (extension) is downloaded. Another menu will appear, click on install now on it.
  5. You will get a notification that GNotifier is being installed on your Firefox.
